Common Kingfisher(Alcedo atthis)

Saw a brand new bird today on the way to school, but as I was driving I couldn't stop so you will have to believe me that I saw a Rose-coloured Starling. I hoped it would still be on the waste ground area near where I live to get a photograph of it, but sadly it had gone. Apparently it is a fairly common passage migrant and winter visitor so I shall try and track it down later. Because of this you will have to look at my friend the Kingfisher that is still around and a bird I love photographing!
