Tree

A golden light shines,
Warming deep and tangled roots,
Though dark skies threaten.


It was that weird sort of light, bright sunshine and cloudy at the same time.  The clouds were gradually spreading but for a short time  the ground was lit by the sun beneath the black rain clouds.  The air felt different ... could Spring be on it's way?
