If you can't beat them...

Douglas.

We were up and away early, timing our arrival for the earliest we would be allowed into the resort.  We couldn't get into the Villa until 3:00 but that was no problem we were aiming for the "Sub Tropical Swimming Paradise".

We were straight in almost as soon as it opened and had a lovely time.  Fortunately unlike our last visit to a Center Parcs resort the outdoor pool was very warm and didn't require a dash across land to get here.  Indoors there were pools and slides for all ages and interests from actual swimming to messing around in water.

When we arrived at the lodge Villa after lunch in a very nice in one of the restaurants we found the wildlife very friendly.  Ducks came within a metre of the Sliding window/door, the squirrels would come on to the threshold and take a peanut out of your fingers.  This one was easily spotted and was christened Douglas or to give him his full name "Lugless Douglas" due to the fact he had obviously "been in the wars" at some time.
