Up for the market this morning and parked at dad's mate's house.

Straight to Carrie's afterwards for some lunch and sunbathing/reading.

Had dinner (pork chops (the tastiest and tenderest I've ever had), home-made focaccia, courgette & carrot salad) followed by early birthday cake for Carrie. I got it in the bakery near their house - it's a tarte tropézienne (here's a bit about it). I made some raspberry coulis to go with it and it was gorgeous!

We danced around to Christy Moore outside the house for half an hour after our meal. Great craic! Sarah ended up in the hammock after all the excitement :)

Carrie's chances of getting a birthday hatchling were looking slim as two of her eggs had pipped, but no chicks had appeared...hopefully by the morning we'd have more luck.
