First Crocus

I've had a lovely day spent with a friend from work, so I haven't been on my usual jaunt around Trentham. I did venture out in the garden late this afternoon, just to see what's starting to emerge. 

I was quite pleased that some of the Spring bulbs I worked hard planting in the Autumn are now coming up. This crocus had been a little chewed by something (?), so I brought it inside to photograph. It was a bit windy outside, so trying photographing them in situ hopeless! I have had a little fun with editing too....

It's officially Spring in the UK. What an apt day to start with a new URL for blipfoto too.
