First Day of Spring

Woke up to a snowy Munich today. The little snowplows and salting vehicles were about and the temperature stayed around o° C all day. I decided to warm up at the swimming pool, just a five minute's walk from home. The Nordbad has a little heated outdoor pool which is quite lovely on a snowy day. You can soak in the hot water and look at the snowy branches above through billows of steam. Indoors they offer a steam bath and a regular 35 meter swimming pool. After soaking and steaming, I had a swim. When I left I felt warm right down to the tips of my toes.
