Wa165 - Rainy day in Gisborne

This is Wa class loco number 165 - preserved by the Gisborne City Vintage Railway in New Zealand.  It was chartered to a cruise liner which could not land its passengers due to the stormy conditions in Poverty Bay.
The rain was lashing down all morning - but still 20+ degrees warm
So, Wa165 came out into the harbour, waited a while, and then went back to its home at the station.  It had been scheduled for 2 runs to Muriwai - about 17km away which is the current end of the line.
Gisborne is cut-off these days since a landslip washed away the line from Napier about 25km from Gisborne.  It is very uncertain as to whether it will ever be rebuilt.
