Track Work

Today the city workers collected the wooden ties out of the trench that they've carved along Baltimore Avenue. Yesterday I noticed them seperating out the steel rails, and the broken concrete is removed in still another container.

It was a fairly hot day and when I took this picture, the track work was much less noisy than it usually gets.
