A stick

Quel dull photo I hear you say It is just a stick in a bit of mud...Well it is but the mud was probably laid down about four thousand years ago and that is probably when the stick was probably embedded in the mud. So in fact it is probably quite well preserved, certainly better than I will be when I am four thousands years old. Feels a bit like it now when I come to think about it......
