Sam's Club

I wonder, is this an American thing, or are there large warehouse stores in other parts of the world? I know about Ikea!  Sam's Club sells everything from groceries to jewelry to furniture to life preservers!  And usually in large quantities.  I try to support our local grocery store but on some things Sam's prices are just too good.  We built shelves in our basement to hold the huge packages of paper products and cleaning products we buy. Kind of crazy.  Their liquor store prices are pretty great as well!
