Toucan courtship

This morning I watched this male Chestnut-mandibled Toucan selecting berries and then gently offering them to his partner with his massive bill.  He is obviously smitten!

We have dropped down from the highlands and the cloud forest and are now at sea level on the pacific coast.  It is very hot.
