Shanks, but no shanks

"Oh yes, Flammulina velutipes, or Velvet Shanks. I expect you found those at the top of the field by the badger setts. I saw them when I was hunting up there. You can eat them yourself, they don't interest me in the slightest although I suppose their colour matches my fur. A bit.
Please  remove them now as I need as mush room as possible to stretch out and wash my own velvet shanks. You can stroke them if you like but don't stand in front of the fire. I want to enjoy the heat."
