Tees from Eston Nab

It's always a running highlight of a trip North to see the in-laws, a run up the Nab. It's only a short, steep run up about 250mts, and only takes 15 minutes or so. But, the views from the top are fantastic. On one side is this view: heavy industrialisation, much of it now sadly redundant due to the decline of the British steel industry. I really do question the point of importing cheap materials when it rips the heart out of communities.
Behind me though, no sign at all of mankind's impact on the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors; the contrast is extreme.
