Parasols

Today we cycled 10 miles up the coast to San Pedro del Pinatar, then back to have lunch at Santiago de la Ribera. We passed the parasols on the beach along the way.

In the extras are the Molino de Quintin (Quintin's windmill), by the salinas or salt pans that extend out from San Pedro, and a shot of sunrise over the La Manga Strip.

We are staying on the shore of the Mar Menor, a large natural lagoon just to the north of Cartagena. There is a thin strip of land, the 'La Manga Strip' which separates the Mar Menor from the Mediterranean sea, over which the sun rises from our viewpoint on the opposite shore.
