Into the Cosmos

This is LK-3, a Russian manned lunar lander which reached the prototype stage in 1972, but was never launched. It is currently an exhibit at the Science Museum in London's exhibition "Cosmonauts - The birth of the space race." It is a fascinating exhibition charting the Russian Space programme.
