A Bird in the Flowers is Worth Two in the Bush

It seemed too good a chance to miss and thereby avoiding the blip trail this morning, to take  a photograph of my *Mothering Sunday flowers from the daughters. There is another bunch hanging on the Internet, a bunch that will never die or need fresh water.
I never usually take bird blips but you have one today, the lesser spotted green finch, who flew in with the flowers.

A late flying bicycle visit from daughter #2, a phone conversation with son#1 making arrangements to meet up in a fortnight and a long Skype call with son#2 in Budapest, completed an eventful day. The Will remains unaltered with all the recipients coming up trumps.

*Kaybee has pointed out to me on the past two consecutive years that the correct nomenclature is Mothering Sunday rather than the commercialised Mother's Day that I have used in the past. I stand corrected.
