A Boulevard?

....well, not exactly.

After looking at some of the charming streets that have been posted for this challenge, I was at a loss.  We live in American suburbia, where things look a bit ordinary,  so I got out my wide angle lens and attempted to make our little street look like a grand boulevard. I was not very successful because this is actually a very small street, also known as a cul de sac, a court, or a dead end.  There are only 8 houses all of which were built in the late 60’s, in what was at that time a modern “colonial Williamsburg” style.   This street as well as all the others in the neighborhood are lined with large oak trees which in the summer provide a beautiful shady green canopy but in the winter look quite bare.  In spite of lacking old world charm, it is home to us for the last 32 years. Our kids had a great childhood here and we love it in every season.

Thanks to Trisharooni for hosting MM this month.
