Beauty in black and white

The reason why smudge is called smudge is that her creator clearly couldn't make their mind up between black or white. Is she mostly black or mostly white? I guess she's both but who decides? At least there's not a flea in sight. I love the detail of this photo with every hair doing its own thing.
