The Curious Affair of the Muddy Sock

A Dr Watson Short Story.

“Watson!”
“Holmes?”
“How often have I said to you that when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth?”
“More than once Holmes, more than once.”
“It was a two pipe problem but I rather fancy I have solved the 'Curious Affair of the Muddy Sock'.
“Was the 'game afoot' Holmes?”
Holmes let out a weary sigh.
“You know Watson, some days you can be a bit of an arse.”
Dr Watson chuckled quietly while filling himself a generous second pipe of Sherlock's 'special' tobacco.
"No shit Sherlock" Watson replied...giggling.
"Munchies?" asked Holmes?
"Pringles!" replied Watson.
"Mrs Hudson!" they shouted in unison.

The End

The extra is a statue of the fine fellow at the top of Leith Walk.
