Timeless

My lasting impression of Dusky Sound is how the mountains are separated from the sea by a band of rock.   There are hardly any beaches.  When you look on the boats sounder you see the mountain profile continues down under the water because the fiords are the drowned glacier valleys.  It was delightful to sail through this serene landscape.  We saw two super yachts and two other charter boats during our 6 days.  On most of the days we were alone.
The extras are the skipper taking time out to get a photo and a flower Friday shot of Hebe flowers and a Queen Paua (white abalone) shell.
