The Return

On our way back to Perth, we took the coastal road which took us through beautiful regions and places - one such is the Margaret River wine region.

At the Voyager Wine Estate, we strecthed legs, and were surprised to find this beautiful Cape Dutch building with its own slave's bell - the latter never used, of course.

What a beautiful wine estate with white and red roses, in full bloom, planted next to the vineyards to indicate which rows bear grapes for white, and which bear grapes for red ..

The image is of an outside stoep/veranda where teas and cofee are served.

We overnighted a little way further on, at Quedjinup, Dunsborough at the Wild Fig Jam Bed and Breakfast place of a gracious lady, Jane Durkin.

What a lovely meal she cooked and served -

At this stage the weather started to improve. and while sitting on the veranda/stoep of the Wild Fig Jam, another shower of rain provided a beautiful rainbow over the landscape in front of us as well as over the Geographe Bay.
