Bursting with life

The cold crisp sunny morning slowly warms up and with it new shoots and flowers are bursting in to life. It may be winter here in WA but it's the best winter I've experienced in my life! Why? Because we're new migrants to Australia and coming from the UK we are seeing everything as first.

It's cold in the morning and even colder at night - well 3 degrees - but the days are just glorious with an abundance of colour from the ever changing skies the reflections on the water, be it the ocean or the rivers, the winter flowers and shrubs and not forgetting the wonderful wild life and birds. The black cockatoo with its flame red tail and the parrots squarks greeting you in the morning as you go about your day.

Everything is just bursting with life and I'm so glad to be part of it. Evermore thankful for the simplest things in life.
