Daffed

The second bunch of allotment daffs is now in full bloom and gracing the kitchen table. What with them and the warm weather that's forecast I could be fooled into thinking it's Spring.
It's been a mixed kind of day; played not bad at the golf this morning, picked up the newly repaired car (after sorting out a problem with paying the VAT - it wasn't going to be me!), pootered about on a few websites trying to see if they'd buy the 'inherited' china (failed, resorted to email), baked a loaf 'cos I'd finished all the rolls we had for my lunch, caught up with another episode of The Lucky Man, now just back from a tenpin-league committee meeting.
Think I deserve a beer.
