Husbands and Sons

Matinee at the Royal Exchange, very good but not quite as good as I expected. Guess I expect everything here will be brilliant, being Regional Theatre of the Year 2016. Also as a Nottinghamian, I was a bit distracted by the varying attempts at an East Midlands accent, it being an adaptation of three DH Lawrence dramas. At least they didn't resort to saying "me duck" every five minutes.
