Two-fer

The weekly challenge is Opposite and it's Abstract Thursday, so this works for both.   Black and white for opposite, slightly distorted sugar cubes for abstract.  Thanks to youoregon1 for continuing to host Abstract Thursday!
What a day for weather!   High wind and heavy rain.  Our power was out for several hours and we had a couple of appointments, so lucky we have a back-up generator that G can hook up so we at least have water and can shower.   We had a visit with Ernie and M this afternoon.  Ernie got me going on blip, and I miss him here since he decided not to post anymore.  Nice that we can still meet in person!   Always good to see both of them.  
We saw that a huge tree  had come down across the power lines on our way to town, and we were happy to see that it had been cleared up on our drive home.  Great that the power was back on so I could post today's blip!
