Mellow yellow

Lots of buds on this plant, not sure if it is Rose of Sharon or Rosa Xanthina, whatever it is it will brighten up the garden at the top of the steps

It is great what shows up in a photo that you do not notice when taking the shot, there is a little green insect poking its head out, could be a greenfly

There is a nip in the air today, feels like Autumn, surely not it is only the middle of July and start of Glasgow Fair
