Posh nosh

B's daughter and her partner bought us lunch at the poshest restaurant we have ever been to (or are ever likely to go to), La Gavroche, run by Michel Roux Junior.

The four of us went today and it lived up to all our expectations and then some; I even had 'foam' on my skate ravioli starter....

A highlight for B, on top of everything else, was meeting the man himself who came out of the kitchen and spoke to every table.

Highly recommended - though Sam, B's daughter did make 138 phone calls in 20 minutes to get the reservation.....!
