Secret communications

I was out on a lichen hunt today in the new woodland extension to the nature reserve. Two experts with me were finding lots of interesting species. This one, Graphis scripta or Secret Writing Lichen, was one of a handful I could identify reliably myself. It's a lichen I've always found fascinating, with its growth pattern that looks like writing.
