King Canute

This is the first day of our almost annual bird watching trip to East anglia. On our way to the north norfolk coast we stop off at Snettisham on the Wash for a high spring tide, which promises to put up thousands of waders and geese. This shows the scene before the tide has advanced. We were rewarded by possibly 10,000 pink feet geese flying over. Probably about to begin their migration north for their summer.
