TURN OF THE TIDE

A different view from the seal hide on the creek. We got there just at the peak of a very high tide in the misty late afternoon, so no mudbanks for the waders and the seals were all too far away to get a good photo. There are still quite a few World War II pill boxes, tank traps, air raid shelters and other structures scattered along the banks of the Tees Estuary and Greatham Creek, this one overlooked by one of our many landfill sites beyond it, but the wildlife doesn't seem to mind. It was just enough exercise today.

Yesterday back blipped.
