Canada geese are ....

..... so territorial!
I watched these 2 geese for a long time this morning, they are so amusing. These 2 got out of the pond waddled up the bank and then the preening began! For quite a while these 2 were preening and then some more! Suddenly another 1 waddled up the bank and then the noise began the 2 already there were having none of it, they fluttered and flew at the single one making an awful noise when the single one walked away and got into the pond then the 2 stood up to full height looking like lords of the manor! It really was a funny display. All the time this pigeon stood looking on and didn't move.
Nature is so wonderful if only we stand and stare !
