Tadpole on the Moon

If I told you there were tadpoles on the moon,
would you credit it?
If I wrote it in a poem,
should I edit it?

OK, it's not the moon,
I've admitted it.
But the stone's as round as the moon,
and the tadpole fitted it!

Before I wrote the ditty, the title of this blip was going to be Before Breakfast, as I suspect this taddy - and a number of his mates - could well form part of a blackbird's breakfast. But this one, at least, has achieved posterity. And flown to the moon and back, with poetic licence, all before breakfast!
