My wife and I went over to see the 306th Bombardment Group's museum at Thurleigh Airfield today as we'd not seen it before.
As it happened there was a re-dedication of their memorial at the same time and members of the US Armed Forces had come over from other US bases in the UK for the event.
The chap on the left, I believe, is a US Navy Chaplain who co-conducted the Service.
