Flood Meadows

Some local villages are difficult to access due to flooded roads but none are totally cut off as there are alternative routes available that involve extra miles. The natural flood meadows around here seem to do their job well and keep the Great Ouse flowing well. Today’s blip is taken from the A6 looking towards the villages of Radwell and Sharnbrook. The river is in the immediate foreground and all the other water beyond is water on the flood meadows.

Our Robin has been very active today and I can’t resist putting a couple of him in extras.
