Bald Eagle Gathering Nesting Material

In between the downpours, we had a momentary bit of sun...so Bob and I drove over to view the Bald Eagle Nest and see how it was progressing.  The eagles were at the nest, but very quiet.  We watched for about 20 minutes, and then one took off over to the nearby field to gather nesting material.  I had never seen either of them go to this location, so it was quite interesting to watch, and I loved that the far hills were in the photo.  Gives you an idea of what a beautiful area this is...countryside near rather densely packed housing developments.
