Borderline Sunset

The sun has set over Greenspoele, on the border between Drenthe and Frisia, The Netherlands.

Another weekend, another sunset shoot. As usual Ton was with me and this evening Niels finally had some time again for photography as well.

We went to the Drents-Friese Wold near Appelscha, where we knew we would find sand, trees, heathland and water. We arrived an hour and a half before sunset and started shooting the heath and trees in the low sunlight. When the sun had set, we marched on to the Greenspoel (Frisian for border pond), situated on the border between the provinces of Frisia and Drenthe. The sky turned red and I think we all succeeded in capturing nature's light show... Thank you Ton and Niels for another great evening!

Definitely better bigger!
