Spring Hazel Cup Encoelia furfuracea

Worked in the garden all morning.  Felled one of my rowan trees  -  less leaves to clear up in the Autumn!  Phyll next door came out to watch me but quickly returned indoors  -  safer there I expect she thought!  Tried to photograph some catkins on my hazelnut tree but the wind was blowing so hard they were all blurred. Closer look at the tree showed it had been colonised by some sort of lichen or fungus.  I think it might be Spring Hazel Cup which has died and been taken over by a green moss.  If it is then, according to Google sources, it inhabits newly dead wood  -  oh dear!  Time to relax now:-)  Have a nice evening:)
