What bird is that?

Quiet morning - cooked a roast dinner and in between times was in the conservatory trying to catch the birds - every time I went into the house they came out when I went back out they disappeared!!  Did spot this unusual bird and wondered what it was - on closer inspection it turned out to be shadows.  From a distance it did look like a bird .More sewing this afternoon and KG watched the rugby.
