New Avenue

This is the new Duchess of Rothesay Avenue path at Dumfries house.  It looks like it follows the original plan for an entrance into the estate from the Barony Road.  The owners of Dumfries House had hoped to put an entrance in from there but the Boswell’s of Auchinleck House would not give them permission for the road.
