Shakespeare's Birthplace

We spent much of today, from early morning, cleaning carpets. We hired a carpet cleaner and the deal was that we had it from Saturday afternoon to Monday afternoon, so we did as much as we could today, and then C will continue tomorrow until it turns into a pumpkin and has to go back.
We decided to call it a day at about 3 pm and walked along the canal into Stratford. It was such a glorious day, and when we reached Stratford we enjoyed a coffee while we sat outside a little café almost opposite Shakespeare's Birthplace in the sunshine and people-watched. Where we sat was almost outside my Granny and Granddad's old house, where my Mother was brought up. My great-grandparents used to live just a few doors further along.
This girl was just one of many who did a little performance outside what used to be the front door of Shakespeare's Birthplace. I wonder if my old relatives would have been surprised to see all of these nationalities down the street where they lived.
