Life at 88mph

Saturday was the day of the big school trip. 100 excited children at 7 in the morning was no mean feat but a great time was had by all and those 100 faces were all smiling at 9 at night when we got back to school.

This is the big model of the earth that greets visitors that enter through the exhibition road entrance. A nice change from the usual pictures of Dippy! Sorry about the noise, I'm still learning the limits of my compact and how to get the best out of it)

(I even bought my self a life-sized skeleton to make out of cardboard pieces. It's kind of complicated so could get interesting. Will be great for a future blip though!)
