Crocus

Three winters ago our village gardening group spent several very muddy days planting 1000s of crocus bulbs. We are now reaping the benefits of our labour. This morning the sun was out and warm and the crocuses, or should that be croci, were looking magnificent and the honey bees were busy gathering the poor man's saffron.
