Sail replacement...

...of the heavyweight variety!
Had planned to get right under this wind turbine and "look up" for MonoMonday today. As we walked across we could see it was all fenced off with men in hard hats working on it; I was disappointed at first, but then realised that they were preparing to lower one of the blades - so we hung around to see the job done.
Had a chat to the supervisor, and he explained that one blade was damaged, but they were having to replace all three as the design has moved on, and the latest ones are more shaped so they can be feathered better to align themselves to the wind more easily.
I've said it before and I'll no doubt say it again... you learn something new every day on Blip...
Trying to put an extra on but it appears to be landscape when it should be portrait... will put it right later.
