Coastal Walk

In the last few years the path that takes you around the whole coast of Wales has been completed and what a wonderful achievement this is.
For us it's meant that some new parts of the Llyn Peninsula are now open to us. From where we are sited we can walk along the coast from Abersoch over hills and cliffs taking in the undulating path.
On this gorgeous and sunny day we could view snow capped mountains across the bay in the National Park of Snowdonia. We passed the island that is home to Bear Grylls and saw the lighthouse twinkling in the brilliant sunshine.
New lambs were in abundance, wild flowers and fauna were bursting into life.
As we turned inland (at Porth Ceiried, my blip for today ) we saw the amazing site of a calf, so newborn, it's mother was biting its umbilical cord and nudging it onto its feet for its first halting steps.
A really wonderful walk and l hope the first of many this season.
