Altar, All Lit Up

Tonight, I attended a program called, "Come, Encounter Christ," at the stunning St. Scholastica Church in Detroit.  The program is a presentation by the Archdiocese of Detroit that is being held at many parishes this year.  There is music, eucharistic adoration, a talk by a priest, and benediction.  It was a good night.  Having never been to the church before, I was really impressed by the giant mosaics behind the altar and the beautiful stained glass.  I shot this blip with my iphone, but I'll definitely need to visit again during the day to get some photo's with my camera.
