The New Bridge, built 1831

This is the five span 'new' bridge which carries the A9 over the River Forth in Stirling.

It's been a beautiful day and I was out early to walk the dog before setting off to Edinburgh to visit mum and do a few errands with her. My walk took me back past the bridge and I was lucky to get it with no traffic as it is a very busy route.

Spring is here. It was 13 degrees today which is warmer than a lot of last July.
