The Petzval Art Lens at Osborne House

A walk around the gardens of Osborne House seems to becoming a regular Sunday morning activity. It's rather pleasant at this time of year with very few visitors compared with the Summer season.
As the daffodils around the grounds are peaking just now I took along the Petzval Art lens which always provokes a reaction from other photographers.

To emphasise the rendering of the lens I have made a custom preset in ON 1 Photo 10. The beauty of the Petzval is that you really don't know what the results are like until seen on the big screen back home. Rather like the old  days when we had to wait until the film was developed.
