Baddeck.

Had to go down to Baddeck today for a dr's appointment...seems that my bum knee is just due to getting old.....what a surprise there eh!!!

Beautiful day out today, but chilly.

spending some time doing some 'practice' work!  ONe of the pieces of advise from our wonderful instructor over the weekend was practice....he likened it to gold pros....they don't go out and play a round of golf 3-4 times a day (well sometimes they do!) but what they do do is practice their grip, their stance, their swing etc.,  all the elements that make up their game.  So likewise, as an artist we need to find the smaller elements and practice them.   I'm going to be practicing painting reflections and only reflections, on small pieces of paper.....studying them in detail!   we'll see how that goes!
