To Ponder (2)

I was out enjoying the fine spring weather this morning and had moved to the roadside to inspect the wild garlic.  Then one had the TV in the ditch moment.

One's initial reaction is of annoyance that someone could be so selfish.

This sort of fly tipping has become slightly more prevalent since the Island introduced a charge for the proper disposal of fridges and TV sets.

I then began to ponder taxation.  From beginning to end this poor old TV set would have been taxed FIVE times.  The fact that it is now in a ditch is possibly an unintended consequence of our taxation system.

Anyway enough of the grumpy old man bit.  I will fetch it out the next time I pass!
