Still life

Another Sunday of work. This conference will end, but not for a few months yet.

Bill and Julie came round to pick up her car. It has been a long time since I last saw Bill and it was good to catch up. We took a wander around the policies talking ducks, mud and buildings.

Later Claire, Megs, Angus and I went down to the Hydro. For some reason Claire had bought a couple of Groupon B&B vouchers, so her and Megan were planning to 'holiday' in Peebles. Angus and I took advantage of the swimming and sauna facilities.

Venison meatballs for tea. Then a rewrite of Angus's discursive essay which the computer managed to have deleted. We know how to have fun.
